Day Shift Mill-Turn Operator
Job title: Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter Operator
Work Location: Brighouse
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Control
Working hours: Mon–Thu 8:00–16:50, Fri 8:00–12:15 (36.75 hrs)
Preferred Qualifications: Apprentice trained machinist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating turn/mill machines
- Programming to customer drawings
- Producing finished components to required quality
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazak or Siemens preferred
- Machining large components, small batches and single parts
- Working to tight tolerances in a high precision environment
- Workshop housekeeping
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong CNC Turning background (live tooling)
- Experience with Fanuc / Mazak / Siemens
- Able to read engineering drawings independently
- Strong manual handling skills and team ethic

- Provide detailed costings for sales enquiries

- Assist in identifying new suppliers and materials
- Collaborate with production and attend sales meetings
- Contribute to machine investment planning
